Over the past few weeks, I have been developing software that converts my voice to text for transcription. I have developed cheap and reasonable alternatives to transcribing my text. During my research, I came across AudioPen.AI, which is an awesome tool with a nice user interface built on Bubble. You can easily transcribe text by clicking on the microphone and allowing the software to do its work. It sends the transcribed text to OpenAI, which then rewrites it. AudioPen.AI offers a very visual and user-friendly platform.

I aim to create something similar for type.audio, a domain that I recently registered. Type.audio is a platform for typing using your voice effectively. I plan to use a combination of my own model and other models like OpenAI to transcribe text. This feature will play well with my Notion.LOL project, where I can generate content using audio.

I have done my own research and discovered various libraries that AudioPen.AI uses. For audio recording, I found a library that does a good job of recording audio. It offers features such as pausing, resuming, and stopping, and can even do screen recording. I also found a tool that allows for spectrum-based recordings, similar to what AudioPen.AI offers. What I really like about this tool is the visualization feature, which enables you to visualize the audio.

talk.audio can also help provide assisted actionable advise to say implement book advice, start a conversation, go on a date, sound smart in a social environment, etc.
